Abstract
A 37 year old male patient came with history diplopia following road traffic accident 6 months back. He was diagnosed with 6th nerve palsy right eye. Medial rectus recession with Modified Nishida’s procedure on superior and inferior recti muscles was done in single sitting. Post operative abduction improved to -2 in right eye. to conclude Modified Nishida’s is vessel sparing surgery where in it can be done along with MR recession in a single sitting and provides good results without the risk of anterior segment ischemia.
