Abstract
It is a retrospective study of two cases of bilateral retinoblastoma ,both developed rhegmatogenous retinal detachment in one eye during the course of systemic chemotherapy.
In both cases one of the eyes was enucleated and were undergoing standard treatment in the form of systemic and local chemotherapy.During the course of treatment both developed rhegmatogenous retinal detachment in the only eye following which they underwent Pars Plana Vitrectomy with silicon oil.
Both patients has been followed up for more than 12 months. No metastasis or tumor recurrence noticed.one of the patients developed cataract in the operated eye, who underwent cataract surgery later.
