Abstract
Capillary hemangioma is the most common tumour of orbit and periorbital area in childhood but this scenario is different when adults are taken into consideration as conjunctival hemangioma are seen less commonly in adults. Hemangiomas are developmental malformations of blood vessels they can be congenital or acquired based on the age of presentation. Conjunctival Capillary hemangioma can present as a superficial, red raised lesion or deep bluish lesion. Acquired conjunctival capillary hemangiomas in adults may present with a complain of cystic mass in eye or with a sub conjunctival hemorrhage. We hereby report a case series of two cases which presented with uniocular recurrent bleeding episodes. On examination blood filled cystic lesions were noted on upper tarsal conjunctiva in both cases. Attention should be paid to patients age as acquired capillary hemangioma of bulbar conjunctiva is usually benign in younger age group but has chances of suspicion of malignancy in older age.
