Abstract

Sphenoid ridge meningioma is a an extremely rare secondary ocular tumour . This case report covers the case of a 36/M patient presenting with diminution of vision , headache , pain in both the eyes , forgetfulness .The duration of symptoms was six months .

The signs included ;mild proptosis, restriction of movements and bilateral papilloedema. CT scan showed involvement of sphenoid ridge with intracranial extension .

The case was managed with surgical intervention, radiotherapy and chemotherapy with VAC regime .

Due to the intracranial extension, the prognosis of this case was poor .
