Abstract

A 32 years old female presented to us with blurring of vision and floaters in the left eye for 2 months, on examination showed two chorioretinitis lesions along with cystoid macular edema (CME). Ocular and systemic Investigations and imaging confirmed the diagnosis of tuberculous multifocal choroiditis (MFC) with a vascularised choroidal granuloma with CME. She received a course of anti-tuberculous treatment (ATT) for 9 months, corticosteroids (both topical and systemic) as well as intravitreal anti-VEGF injections and regained her vision. After staying stable and inactive for four years since stopping all treatment, she had a re – vascularisation of the granuloma with CME in same eye without reactivation of uveitis. She responded to two doses of intravitreal anti-VEGF injection alone. To the best of our knowledge and review of literature, we are reporting the case re-vascularisation of tubercular granuloma with multimodal imaging findings for the first time.
