Abstract

Purpose – To study Clinico-histopathological profile of Excised eyelid lesions Methods – A Hospital based prospective interventional study conducted in Tertiary care hospital Sample size: 30 • Duration: January 2021 – January 2022 Inclusion criteria – All lid swellings • Exclusion criteria – cases who do not give consent Already operated cases. All cases are examined by experienced ophthalmologist. Surgical profile investigations were done. All cases were operated under local Anesthesia and analgesia. Excised samples are sent for histopathological examination. Results- Among 30 cases7 were inflammatory lesions (chalazion) 21 were benign lesions 2 were malignant lesions.Most common eyelid lesions were cysts of eyelid followed by nevus and pyogenic granuloma Conclusion -Dermoid cyst keratinous cyst are most common eyelid lesions and malignant lesions were least common.
