Phakoemulsification has proved the test of time & is the most performed Vision restoring Surgery today & has transformed conventional Cataract surgery into Refractive surgery. Though a relatively routine procedure taking just a few minutes in experienced hands, there are times that one is faced either with preoperative or intra operative challenges during the procedure.

This Instruction Course will highlight these challenges ranging from, preoperative ones like Rock hard Cataract , Small pupil, Subluxated cataract, to intraoperative ones like Rhexis extension, Zonular dehisence, posterior capsular rent and FLACS related complications, & the methods to deal with them.

The Course will be a Video based one with the eminent panel demonstrating step by step methodologies to manage these problems.

The audience would get a through understanding in what to do to avoid these complications & the ways to manage them when inadvertently faced with them, with didactic video based discussions.
