We are facing a crisis of climate change which being insidious is less visible. We as a community of ophthalmologists are a part of the larger society and we must modify our lives to decrease our carbon footprint at the earliest. Doing so would also help us save more in the long term economically.

Most of us are academically and scientifically competent in providing an excellent service to our patients. However, are we equally aware of the environmental safety? This instruction course will suggest ways and means to attain this goal and initiate a dialogue in our community to design/modify/manage our eye care facilities.
