Abstract
Cerebral visual impairment is a dysfunction of the visual processing areas. While it is daunting to assess a child with suspected cerebral visual impairment (CVI), giving therapy to a child with CVI is a whole other ball game. There are but a handful of centres across India that have established clinics for the management of cortical visual impairment and not all of them are accessible easily. A multi-disciplinary approach is needed to treat any child with CVI and a clinic for the same needs to be different from your regular OPD setting. It requires special attention and care, not only with the environment of it but with also the assessor or therapist. In this video, we demonstrate how to set up a CVI clinic and make the best of it in your practice while not burning a hole in your pockets. All you need is some space, easily available resources and you can help a child see beyond his/her visual acuity which is gratifying, to say the least.
