Abstract

A 3-year-old female child was presented to us with a fleshy mass on the temporal fornix of left eye. On examination, the mass was smooth, soft, non-tender, immobile, yellowish to transparent in color, posterior limit of which could not be seen, extending from superior to inferior fornix. Rest anterior segment findings were found to be normal.

Slit lamp biomicroscopy, IDO examination both eyes was done. No other ocular findings noted.

Hemifacial asymmetry towards the left side and pre-auricular appendage was noted. The child was prescribed E/D Lubrex and Moxigram and planned for excision under general anaesthesia with investigations.

Parents were counselled and paediatric, plastic surgery, orthopaedics and otorhinolaryngology opinion suggested.
