Abstract

A 48 year old male, known case of retroviral disease for 15 years on ART, history of TB 10 years ago was on ATT for 6 months, Known case of hepatitis B and T2DM for 4 years on oral hypoglycemic agents was presented with complaints of mass over the left eyelid. Patient noticed a lesion over the left eye about 3 years ago which gradually increased in size. Associated with occasional watering. Patient gives history of trauma to left eye in childhood with a stick following which he developed diminution of vision in the left eye. Visual acuity in right eye is 6/9(P) improving to 6/9 and left eye is PL negative. Anterior segment examination of left eye shows a papillary mass of size 4×3 cm indifferentiable from the contents of globe giving rise to a different picture other than the routine presentation. Patient underwent left eye lid sparing exenteration followed by histopathologic examination.
