Abstract

Ocular surface squamous neoplasia is a broad entity that comprises the spectrum of squamous neoplasms of conjunctiva and cornea. A 63 year old male patient presented with gradual progressive painless diminution of vision in left eye for 2 years. On examination BCVA in right eye was 6/6 and left eye counting fingers 1 meter. Examination of left eye showed papilliform fleshy mass measuring 2*3cm in infero-temporal quadrant with well defined margins and dilated feeder vessels. Cornea had 360 degree pannus. Fundus examination was normal. There were no palpable lymphnodes .These features were clinically suggestive of OSSN and he was started on fortified Interferon 2b alpha 5 million IU eyedrops diluted to 1 million IU per ml four times daily and was regularly followed up. Patient improved with significant regression of conjunctival mass and corneal signs.
